Terms, Laws and Shipping

I do ship to California!

Payment: At this time PAY PAL IS AVAILABLE FOR PARTS, LEATHER GOODS, AND ANYTHING OTHER THAN FIREARMS.  I only accept Postal Money orders, certified or cashiers checks, and cash (in person) for firearms. If you are mailing payment please do not send cash thru the mail.

It is legal for you to send your firearm to me as I am an FFL  holder without using an FFL on your end to do so.  As and FFL gunsmith I may legally  return the firearm directly to you when work is completed without sending it to an FFL. Therefore, you can eliminate those additional charges.

Laws: All firearm sales transactions will be done in a manner to conform to the applicable Federal and State laws. If the law requires a gun to be shipped to an FFL it is the buyers responsibility to locate a dealer that will receive the gun. A signed copy of the FFL is required prior to shipment.  For original Winchester 1897’s it is also legal to ship to a C&R holders.

Domestic Shipments: Unless otherwise requested, and any difference is paid by buyer, all long guns will be shipped via FedEx. Standard shipping fees will be $35.00 on long guns.  Hand guns will ship via USPS Priority Mail at the rate of $30.00 for one hand gun, $40.00 on a pair of hand guns. All shipments will include insurance and I reserve the right to ship long guns in a “taken down” manner. This will eliminate or at least reduce the chance of damage to the gun and especially the stocks.

Export Shipments ARE AVAILABLE AS OF 8/1/17.  I currently ship to Germany, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, and the U.K. If you reside outside of the U.S. DO NOT place an order thru this web site.  Please email your parts order and complete delivery address so I can obtain an accurate insurance and shipping quote for you. The shipping that will show and be charged is for U.S. domestic shipping only.  You will have to pay a second invoice and pay pal transaction fee if you place an order thru this web site.  Firearms shipments will only be made after all required permits, licenses, and payment has been received.  If you use or have an Exporter please provide the contact information for the company.  Payment will only be accepted and made by bank wire transfer, information will be furnished at time of sale.  Non firearms may be paid by Pay Pal.  Please understand that different countries have different rules regarding shipments of guns and parts as well as overall packing boxes, amount of insurance allowed, and gun specifics.  I will work with you to ensure that any legal parts or guns are available to you.

Claims for damage in shipment: Although rare, it does happen. If an item is damaged in shipment, or the parts don’t arrive,  the buyer will have the choice of keeping the gun and having the damage repaired or returning the gun for a full refund. Example, on a 97, if a stock is damaged there are these options to consider. I will send a similar replacement stock to the buyer at no cost to buyer.  Buyer sends me estimate of repairs and I submit claim to carrier and reimburse buyer for repairs after the carrier pays the claim.  Return the gun to me and I will refund the full purchase price minus shipping.

Layaway: Usually available at no extra cost on some items.  However, please ask ahead of time so there is no misunderstanding on things like special order items.
