Yes this bolt will fit the Winchester 1897. However, be informed the screws that are in this bolt are all metric threads. As long as the bolt as pictured and described is used with the installed screws and parts, it will work.  This bolt has correct screws in each threaded screw hole. In case you can’t see them, the firing pin lock, screw, spring and pin, firing pin are installed. Right and left extractors, hook screw, pin, plunger and spring are installed. Bolt is drop in ready as soon as you remove the hook screw.
