Condition of Forearm: Checkered, Very Good, no cracks or chips.
Additional Information: I had Eldon replace the 26″ octagon barrel with the lighter 20″ round carbine barrel, all insides were rebuilt, new parts put in where required. Then he did his action work on it. It is really a nice shooter. has buck horn rear sight and larger brass bead front sight. This is one of those projects that got out of hand from an expense standpoint. I have more in it than I will get out of it but since we have two others that we shoot and also since they are so dependable after Eldon gets done with them, I am offering this one for sale.
