Don’t keep spending money replacing your old three screw wood and buying screws and escutcheons. Here is the answer to eliminating those problems and expenses.

Winchester 1897 Action Slide With Long Tube and Screw Cap for the Solid Frame Model, arm is approximately 5.5″ and branded with the original Winchester information. This is a refurbushed slide with a new tube and threads and matching screw cap with nice clean finish. It uses the “solid” wood (without the three screw holes) forearm that is held in place with the screw cap. Wood is sold separately. The wood in the forearm is supported the entire length by the new sturdy tube.

If you are replacing a three screw slide I will offer you trade value of $35 for a good solid frame three screw model. No breaks or welding.

Disclaimer. These may work on Norinco and IAC 97’s but I have not tried them. I have been successful using some of the Norinco/IAC solid frame slides on Winchester models but some took a little work to get the to work properly.
